New Pornographers Drummer Kurt Dahle Leaves Band

The New Pornographers' drummer Kurt Dahle has decided to leave the band. The announcement was posted on the band's Facebook. "Kurt Dahle is leaving the New Pornographers," the band wrote. "It has been a great 15 years playing with an amazing drummer, singer and performer. We wish him the best. Everything is still full steam ahead with the band and we look forward to continued rocking and singing of songs."

Dahle had been the band's only drummer, from their 2000 debut Mass Romantic to this year's Brill Bruisers.

Grimes Shares Bedtime Mix on BBC

On Annie Mac's BBC show, Grimes came by for an interview and played a "Bedtime Mix", which was comprised of music to listen to in order to fall asleep. Grimes' seven-song mix begins right around 2:25:20, and features Aphex Twin, Portishead, and Majical Cloudz, among others. In reference to the mix, Grimes said: "a lot of it is stuff from my childhood...when I go to bed I like to listen to nostalgic stuff."

Darkside, comprised of Nicolas Jaar and Dave Harrington, announced last month that they were "coming to an end, for now". On Friday, the duo performed their final performance for the immediate future at the Masonic Temple in Brooklyn. Before their final song, the band made sure to thank the fans, the lighting team, and management. Watch footage of potentially their last performance below via Billboard.

Spike Jonze Surprises Karen O with Video for "Ooo"

The new video for Karen O's "Ooo", off the recently released Crush Songs, was apparently made without her knowledge. The video was directed by Spike Jonze (with whom Karen O has collaborated with before, most recently on the Oscar-nominated Her) and stars actress Elle Fanning dancing in the New York Metropolitan Opera House. Grimes Scraps New Album Sessions and Starts Process Over

Claire Boucher, also known as Grimes, has scrapped the recordings for her next album and has started the process again from scratch. In an interview with The New York Times, Grimes stated that she thought the follow-up to her widely praised Visions "sucked, so [she] threw it out and started again".

Jessie Ware has shared the video for "Say You Love Me", which is off the forthcoming Tough Love. The video features Ware sitting atop a large fake stone on a set, as the camera films her in extended takes. The video, similar to that of the song, takes a very direct approach. There may not be any real glamour to the video, but her ability to react to each line of the song is absolutely outstanding. Watch the video below.
