Modest Mouse to Reissue First Two Albums

It's been some seven years since we heard Modest Mouse's most recent material, but it looks as if we might get something as a consolation prize. Modest Mouse have plans to reisssue their first two LPs, 1996's This Is a Long Drive for Someone with Nothing to Think About and 1997’s The Lonesome Crowded West. They records will be released October 28 and November 4, respectively, via Glacial Pace and Fat Possum Records.

Nicky Da B, New Orleans Bounce Artist, Dead at 24

Nickesse Toney, also known as Nicky Da B, passed away on Tuesday, according to The Times-Picayune. The 24-year-old was most known for his feature on Diplo's "Express Yourself". In 2012 he released an album titled Don't Forget About Da B. His management provided this statement via Pitchfork: “It is with heaviness in our hearts today that we confirm the passing of Nicky Da B. Nicky was a beautiful soul and we will always be grateful for his magnetic personality and loving spirit. We were inspired by his talent as much as his tireless optimism, compassion and humility. Our condolences go out to his family at this time.”

Run the Jewels, comprised of Killer Mike and EL-P, will release their next album, RTJ2, October 28 via Nas' imprint Mass Appeal. The duo have shared some information about the album, including the album artwork (above) and tracklist (below). Additionally, they've also announced tour dates featuring supporting acts Joey Bada$$. Despot, and Ratking.

Cee Lo Green: Not Rape If They're Unconscious

Last Friday, Cee Lo Green was sentenced to three years of probation and 45 days of community service after pleading no contest to felony ecstasy possession, according to Las Vegas Review-Journal. Green was accused of giving ecstasy dinner to a woman in 2012 in Los Angeles. Green had sex with the victim, but he pleaded that it was consensual and prosecutors chose not to pursue rape charges. Due to criticism, Green felt he needed to defend himself.

It's been a long wait for Ryan Adams' new album, but it's finally here. Some thee years after Ashes & Fire, he's settled down with wife Mandy Moore and recorded an album that, in his words, was "too sad" to be released. That album has since been scrapped, but his new album is now available to stream over at NPR. Ryan Adams is out 9/9 via Pax-Am/Blue Note.

The newest Netflix original show, BoJack Horseman, can officially check off "theme song" from their list of requirements. The show, which is about a washed-up actor who also happens to be a horse, features a theme song penned by the Black Keys' Patrick Carney. BoJack Horseman features an impressive cast of voices, with Will Arnett, Amy Sedaris, Alison Brie and Aaron Paul all signed on. Listen to the theme song below via Stereogum.
