Nai Harvest have shared their video for "Buttercups", the single off their recent split 12" with Playlounge. The band tells Crack, “Washing machines are cool dude! At the time Ed Crisp; who shot the video, had the idea of putting flowers in a washing machine then we decided to hit the laundrette to keep a little theme going. But, now you mention it thinking a little deeper I guess it’s a hint towards our album. James Murphy Making 400 Hours of Music Off of U.S. Open Tennis Data

James Murphy, the former frontman of LCD Soundsystem, is taking on a very unusual project. As Self-Titled points out, Murphy and IBM are working together to use the raw data from tennis matches in the U.S. Open, which is currently going on, to make each match into its own unique musical composition using an algorithm. At the conclusion of the project, there'll be nearly 400 hours of music, though almost assuredly none of it will ever be heard. “I’m not writing music,” says Murphy in an online trailer for the project. “I’m generating probabilities for music.” Check out that trailer below.

Kanye West, Jay-Z, and Frank Ocean have been sued in a $3 million lawsuit in relation to 2011's Watch the Throne. New York musician Joel McDonald believes that the rappers' "Made in America" takes from a song he wrote in 2009 under the same title, as XXL reports.

In case you haven't heard, OutKast have spent the entire summer on a massive reunion tour, playing nearly every festival and solidifying their status as one of the greatest rap groups of all time. It's clear, though, that André 3000, one half of the duo, hasn't been totally enthralled with the experience. And now, we have actual proof that he isn't. In an interview with The New York Times, which is incredibly rare given that André almost never does interviews, he discusses his perspective on the tour and rapping in general.
